Like many of my friends I realized I had accumulated way too many Indian outfits over the years. Some I had worn once. They all had a story and memory that went with it. I wanted to share them with someone who would also get joy from wearing them. I just didn’t have anyone to give them too. So I came up with Sabka. My closet was now Sabka (everyone’s) closet. Why not share my clothes with someone else for a small fee. Use those funds towards a charitable cause. It made sense. Why didn’t I think of this before. If I could find a purpose for these clothes then what could be more perfect. Sharing is the essence of being part of a community. And after all if there’s one thing we’ve learnt is we are part of a global community and we have a responsibility to one another.
